Winter Maintenance was the first privately owned company to be established in the United Kingdom which focused entirely on winter gritting. The company was set up in 1997 and has been growing from strength to strength ever since. Our many years experience, coupled with providing a professional, yet personal service to our clients has enabled us to supply quality gritting services throughout England and Wales for many years.
Our broad client base, range from Facility Management Companies, Car Manufacturing Plants, Large Supermarket Distribution Centres, Schools and Academies, NHS Hospitals and Residential Care Homes through to Private Businesses and Doctor’s Surgeries.
The majority of our clients have been with us for more than 13 years which, we believe is proof that we are a company that can be relied upon when it is needed the most.
We pride ourselves on providing the best service possible to all our clients from dealing with our administration staff through to our Gritter drivers.
We ensure that not only all our drivers are fully acquainted with all our clients’ sites, but also our administration staff is too. This we find, is invaluable to all, giving you, the client peace of mind. Knowing that we know exactly what you are talking about when you call.
We provide a 24 hour service to our clients – night time cover for gritting and day time for advice or help whenever it is required.
We provide out of hours contact numbers to ensure that you have peace of mind that we are at the end of a phone when needed.
